The American Museum of Science & Energy Foundation was chartered in September 1996 and organized to further the cultural, educational and scientific programs of the American Museum of Science & Energy Museum (AMSE). The Foundation’s purpose is to assist in the operation and development of the museum, which seeks a broad public, private and volunteer support base. As a 501(c) (3) corporation, the foundation’s tax exempt status provides an added benefit when seeking financial and other donations. The foundation is governed by a 16 member board of directors elected by the foundation membership. Foundation membership is open to any individual who applies for the appropriate AMSE membership category.
The AMSE Foundation is committed to be a support to AMSE and help provide the resources required to achieve excellence.
To be a strong advocate for AMSE as a premier museum for educating the public in science, technology and the history of the Manhattan Project.
To be a champion for AMSE through its works, wealth, and wisdom.
